A new training programme is in the pipeline for 2026–2028

We are delighted to announce that the European Commission has officially accepted our EL@N III project proposal for the period 2026–2028

Building on the success of our previous initiatives, EL@N III will strengthen training for notaries across Europe, focusing on two strategic pillars:

🔹 1. Digital Capacity for Notaries
Training will address the challenges of the digital era, including:
– Cybersecurity, phishing, and information security
– Authentication of videoconferences and digital certificates
– Secure communication tools and digital document management
– Crypto-assets and anti-money laundering (AML)
– Interconnection of registers of wills

🔹 2. Company Mobility
Training will also cover:
– Beneficial ownership registers
– Implementation of EU Directives and best practices
– Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS)

📚 The programme will adopt a blended learning approach combining:
🌐 E-learning modules via the European Notarial Network platform → www.enn-rne.eu
🤝 Cross-border in-person seminars in four EU Member States

✨ An “Erasmus for Notaries” component will also be developed to encourage knowledge exchange and closer cooperation among notariats across Europe.
