Secure real estate transfers in Europe
Buying a home is an important moment in citizens’ lives. An application for a mortgage is therefore of crucial importance, both financially and personally. In addition, increasing numbers of Europeans are buying property outside their country of origin. Notaries facilitate these transnational transactions and advise citizens on the legal conditions of their purchase and loan.
In this context, the CNUE actively participates in the work of the European institutions to develop mortgage law, being particularly vigilant about keeping consumers informed and protecting their rights.
