Training strategy

In its strategy for judicial training for the period 2021-2024, the European Commission wants to broaden the scope of EU training opportunities for legal professionals to include new areas of work, such as digitalisation and artificial intelligence. It also sets ambitious targets: by 2024, 30% of notaries should be trained in EU law every year.

Since 2014, and thanks to three successive training programmes supported by the European Commission, almost 5,000 notaries have been able to follow training in European law or the law of another Member State. This means that the CNUE has directly contributed to the training of almost 12% of European notaries, mainly on succession law, family law and anti-money laundering.
